Why Study Abroad?
- Studying abroad helps you to enhance your independence and self-confidence
as well as gaining an insight into a different culture and a new
perspective on your own. Those who wish to broaden their mind
and experience the cultural benefits of studying abroad have the
opportunity at Leeds to interact with people not only from the
UK but also from all over the world and to travel in their free
time to different parts of the UK and the rest of Europe.
- To succeed in tomorrow's job market you will need something
that will add value to your degree and make you stand out from
the crowd. A year or a semester spent studying abroad will show
your future employer that you are adaptable and proactive.
- If you are intending to continue on to graduate studies you
will have the invaluable experience of studying in a different
academic culture and experiencing a different perspective on your
chosen subject. Leeds is a leading research university with an
international reputation and you can be sure that what you study
with us will provide you with a good grounding for further study.
