Postgraduate Bursaries

Postgraduates in French (or French related) studies only are invited to apply for bursaries to attend “Translating Voices, Translating Regions” conference which are funded by ASMCF. The four bursaries available will cover the conference fee, including all meals, and will partly cover travel expenses.  The amount of each bursary is £75 pounds.

Applicants are not required to present a paper at the conference, but priority over the bursary will be given to those who do so.  Applicants should write a 300-word statement in English outlining their reasons for wanting to attend the conference and their research interests.

The statements should be sent by Word-format attachment to Federico Federici on f.federici@leeds.ac.uk by 16 June 2005. Please title the email 'PG in French ASMCF bursaries'.  The bursaries will be assigned on a first come first served basis.
