Bike Hub

The Velocampus Leeds bike hub on UoL campus is ideally situated for access by staff and students at both universities and the teaching hospitals. It provides a base and facilities for bike hire issue/servicing, bike maintenance classes, cycle training, bike buddying, safety and route advice/information, along with other UTravelActive events & activities.

Where to find the Velocampus Leeds bike hub

The hub is on the University of Leeds campus under the large paved area at the end of the EC stoner building, at the bottom of the steps. To open a printable map, click here.

Opening Times

The Bike Hub is open regularly every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 12–4pm. There will be experienced members of the team available for advice and guidance, and a qualified bike mechanic on Thursdays.

Drop in Sessions

Running during usual opening hours, these free self-help maintenance sessions are open to all staff and students to maintain their own bikes. Just turn up and use the tools, materials and equipment, with guidance from the team. These sessions are primarily to keep your bike safe and fit for the road. If you have a major fault with your bike please take it to a bike shop.
