For Students: Assignment submission using the VLE
Introduction
Your tutor may ask that you submit an assignment electronically using the VLE.
There are two common methods of submission, these are the Blackboard Assignment tool and TurnitinUK Assignment.
Each tool can be identified from its icon type.
Blackboard Assignment uses the paper, pencil & ruler icon.
TurnitinUK Assignment uses the paper icon
How do I find my submission area?
Your tutor should inform you where the assignment is located, if you can't locate the submission area please contact your module tutor.
How do I submit my assignment?
The Blackboard Assignment tool and TurnitinUK Assignment guides will take you through the steps you need to follow to submit an assignment.
I can't submit my assignment using the VLE, what should I do?
If you are experiencing difficulties submitting assignment please contact the ISS Helpdesk. You should also contact your Faculty/School office or module tutor.
