Introductory Training
The current VLE training includes three staged introductory sessions aimed at academic staff and one for administrators:
- VLE 1: Getting Started – an introductory overview
- VLE2: Managing Content - module design and working with content
- VLE 3: Getting Interactive – tools for communication, collaboration and assessment
- VLE for Administrators
Colleagues who are new to the VLE or who feel they need more support in taking on the changes are encouraged to attend these events.
Other VLE courses and workshops
SDDU also run a variety of courses, dissemination events and online provision that look in detail at different uses of the VLE and other technologies for student education. Online Road shows
The Road show highlights new features and learning and teaching gains of the VLE following the Summer 2011 upgrade.
