Visiting lecturer in April

Prof Irène Langlet, Université de Limoges, visits Leeds.

Professor Irène Langlet (Université de Limoges), will visit Leeds from 24-28 April as part of the Erasmus+ teaching exchange programme. She will teach on several final-year modules and meet some of our final-year dissertation students to discuss their work.

Irène Langlet is Professor of Contemporary Literature at the University of Limoges. She specializes in science fiction, media cultures and literary non-fiction. She is chief editor of Res Futurae, an online scholarly journal partner of Science Fiction Studies. Her publications include La science-fiction. Lecture et poétique d’un genre littéraire (Armand Colin, 2006), numerous articles on the essay, and the recent book L’Abeille et la balance. Penser l’essai (Classiques Garnier, 2016).
