Once you have submitted your application we will check it eg to ensure that you have provided the correct documents (see the Documents section for more information); to ensure that you have paid the processing fee; etc. Please note that if you submit your application in the two weeks before the closing date it may not be checked until after the Christmas break, because so many applications are submitted at that time.
If there are any problems we will contact you, usually by email. Your email software may treat our emails as junk or spam, so please check your Junk Email folder and/or Spam Email folder regularly. If we ask you for further information, documents or payment, please provide these as soon as possible because your application will not be released to the courses until we receive them.
During this process if you login to your application, on the first screen you will see one of the following:

We will also email you to let you know that your application has been released. Your email software may treat our emails as junk or spam, so please check your Junk Email folder and/or Spam Email folder regularly.
We release applications to the courses in batches of approximately 120. The first batch is usually released in November when enough applications have been checked and have both references. The final batch will be released on 29 January 2021.
If any of your contact details change you can login to your application and update the Your Details section. This can be done either before or after you have submitted your application.
This will update our records and, if your application has already been released to the courses, they will automatically be informed as well.
The Clearing House can accept no responsibility for errors in the handling of applications howsoever caused. By accepting your application we are not confirming your eligibility for entry to courses.
