Experience colourful sacred music for divided choirs and instruments with the Leeds Baroque Choir and Orchestra, directed by Peter Holman.
This concert features the work of Domenico Scarlatti (1685-1757), Francisco Valls (d. 1747), José de Torres (1670-1738), José de Nebra (1702-68) and others, including a complete performance of Nebra’s great Requiem (1758), commemorating Doña Bárbara, Queen of Spain.
Featuring Francis Gush, counter tenor, and Sarah Ridy, Baroque harp. This concert marks the debut of Asuka Sumi as leader of the orchestra.
