Join us as we shine a light on just some of the brilliant Leeds research that is helping to reduce inequalities and improve the lives of people in our city, the UK and around the world.

From helping to address climate change, to amplifying the voices of the “hardly reached”, and empowering young women through creativity, researchers are applying their expertise to tackle challenging issues.

Explore how we can tackle unsustainable patterns of production and consumption, and come together for a fairer future with a circular economy.

Discover how working with the British Sikh community allowed one researcher to engage, empower and truly represent the voices of those whose lives his research was about.

And learn how an Art School for Rebel Girls created an inclusive space for young women to become cultural producers, and work collaboratively to make their creative mark on the world in their own terms.

This free online event is open to all and will be live streamed to YouTube.

Speakers: Dr Anne Velenturf, Dr Jasjit Singh, Dr Elspeth Mitchell, Dr Gill Park.
