Make it Social: Block Print Brutalism

Chill, chat and get creative! Learn some new creative skills in this free workshop for students, led by artist Vincent James.

Inspired by Leeds University Library Galleries exhibition 'Another Brick in the Wall' this workshop will explore form, pattern and texture using a range of materials and techniques.

Using a combination of simple block printing, stenciling, frottage and collage we will create a series of work influenced by the Brutalist architecture of the show.

Working collaboratively, we will also produce a large-scale architectural composition of a cityscape of our own Brutalist creations.

This workshop is suitable for all abilities from complete beginners to art students. All materials and refreshments provided.

Relaxed start time so don’t worry if you are a bit late or have to leave early.
