For the past year a cross-faculty team at the University of Leeds, along with several international organisations, have been working on a Global Challenge Research Funded (GCRF) project.
Known as CE4AMR: The One Health Approach, this project has run over the past 18 months led by Dr Rebecca King (Co-I Professor Paul Cooke). The aim being to understand how community-based approaches may be employed to help tackle the growing challenge of AMR from multiple different perspectives.
On 16 November, we will be joined by the Vice-Chancellor and WHO to share our findings. Audience members will include policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and students from across faculties and disciplinary areas.
Our keynote speakers will contextualise the value of community engagement to both research and policy, whilst CE4AMR network members will introduce new projects and collaborations which build upon the cluster’s findings.
