Join us for our next Visiting Artist's Talk (VAT) when we will welcome curator and writer George Vasey.

George Vasey is a curator and writer currently based between Newcastle, Middlesborough and Hull.

He has written for Art Monthly, Art Review, Frieze, Kaleidoscope and Mousse and was previously writer in residence at the Jerwood Space, London.

He is a curator for Turner Prize 2017 at Ferens Art Gallery, Hull and curatorial fellow at Newcastle University. From 2014-16 he was curator at the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art, Sunderland and previously worked at commercial, public and artist-led galleries.

The Visiting Artists' Talks (VAT) series hosts talks by an exciting range of arts practitioners from around the world every Monday afternoon during teaching weeks.
