Emma Brooksbank of Freeths Solicitors will be at St James’s to give an update to staff on Brexit negotiations and immigration matters. This update is aimed at EEA colleagues.

An information session for University of Leeds colleagues who may be concerned or have queries about the effect of Brexit on immigration matters.

Emma Brooksbank, Partner and immigration specialist at Freeths Solicitors, will be visiting St James's to update staff and to answer general queries.

The session will cover the current situation for European nationals and their family members in the UK and how the position is anticipated to change in the coming years.

Emma will focus on permanent residence applications and applications to naturalise as a British Citizen, and the proposal from government relating to settled status. This will include the practicalities of making an application and key areas of difficulty.
