The Health and Safety Protocol on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)/Drones has been launched. Book to attend the briefing sessions for the new Protocol.
Contact Katy Hargreaves to book onto the briefing session.
A UAS is defined as an aircraft flight that is controlled either autonomously, by on-board computers, or by a pilot using a remote control.
Health and Safety Services have developed the guidelines following extensive consultation.
Find out more about how to ensure the safe management of Drone flights either:
- on, inside, or over University premises (by both the University and third parties); and
- off University premises (UK and overseas) for University business, study or research purposes.
See the Health and Safety Services website to view the policy in full.
