Nexus members Overlap Associates will bring their expertise as leading interdisciplinary practitioners to life. They'll guide you through real examples, showcasing stories of best-practice and impact.
Many of us get the idea of co-design - designing with, not for - the people most impacted by a given decision, solution or implementation. Leading social scientist and Nobel Laureate Herbert Simon suggested 40 years ago that, everyone designs who devises courses of action aimed at changing existing situations into preferred ones.
Most of us design. We just dont all design as well as we could.
In this exclusive (free), interactive 90-minute workshop, Nexus members Overlap Associates will bring their expertise as leading interdisciplinary practitioners to life.
Participants will be guided through a series of real examples, showcasing stories of best-practice and impact, using co-design. This will be followed by an experiential learning opportunity for participants, breaking into small working groups, to learn about the application and integration of human-centred design in their areas of interest.
This workshop aims to bring together like-minded individuals with a vested interest in collaboration and problem-solving. It is suitable for the academic community in Leeds (including researchers, academic leads, students), as well as Nexus members and businesses across the region who work across and are interested in design thinking.
