Reform of Statute VII

September 2017:

The proposed changes to Statute VII were approved by the University Council on 25 May.  They have been forwarded to the Privy Council for final approval.

Please note that the principle and protection of academic freedom – a cornerstone of our constitution – is explicit in all relevant procedures.
