Statute VII

An update has been issued following a Council meeting on Wednesday 26 April.

The Council – the University’s governing body –broadly agreed on Wednesday (26 April) the detail of changes to Statute VII, subject to any further drafting amendments that might be agreed with the University and College Union (UCU) by 5 May. This follows a constructive meeting between the University and the UCU on Monday (24 April).

Statute VII sets out the procedures for academic and professional and managerial staff for the resolution of grievances, and for dismissal, removal from office, and redundancy.
