Our Social Sciences Team provide a broad and exciting programme of activities throughout the year for young learners and teachers with an interest in:
- Business (economics, management, marketing, accounting and finance)
- Education (childhood studies, teaching, CELTA)
- Environmental studies and sustainability
- Geography and geology
- Law (criminology and criminal justice)
- Politics and international studies
- Social policy
Our annual programme of activity includes taster sessions at the University, school and college roadshow events and teachers' conferences. For more information or to join our mailing list for details on all upcoming social science outreach events, please email the Social Sciences Team
Leeds Loves Social Science
Our subject specific 'Leeds Loves...' talks are delivered in schools by undergraduate students from a range of social science degrees. The sessions are designed to inspire and promote interest in the social sciences subjects in higher education. Schools often use these talks as part of their options events or during subject immersion days. All events are free and last between 30 to 60 minutes depending on your requirements. Please see the Leeds Loves leaflet for full details.
