Access to Leeds is a widening access scheme which gives special consideration to students whose personal circumstances may affect their ability to demonstrate talent and potential through grades alone. At Leeds we are aware that A-level grades alone cannot tell us everything about an applicant, including their abilities or their individual circumstances.

The scheme runs in addition to and not instead of the applicant's UCAS application. To be eligible for the scheme an applicant must meet two or more of our eligibility criteria. Eligible applicants to the scheme will receive special consideration from admissions tutors. Although Access to Leeds applicants are not guaranteed an offer, if they do receive an offer they will also receive an Access to Leeds offer two A-level grades (or equivalent) below the standard offer.
