Obituary: Angela de Rusett

Sadly, we have been informed that Mrs Angela de Rusett, who was employed in the Brotherton Library between 1975 and 1982, died on 20 September 2004.

Mrs de Rusett was the widow of Mr Alan de Rusett, who was a Senior Lecturer in the Departments of Adult Education and Extra-Mural Studies and Social Studies, and also Warden of Albert Mansbridge Hall. On her husband's death in 1974, Mrs de Rusett generously donated a large collection of his books and papers to the University.

Mrs de Rusett's funeral will take place at Lawnswood Crematorium, Otley Road, Leeds 16, at 11 a.m. on Friday, 1 October. The flag on the Parkinson Building will be flown at half-mast on that day, as a mark of respect.
