Peter Whiteley

Members will be very sorry to learn of the death over the Christmas period of Mr Peter Whiteley from the Grounds and Gardens Section of Estates Services.

Appointed in 1975 as a Trainee Gardener, and promoted in 1985, Mr Whiteley contributed enormously to the work of Estate Services, his enthusiasm making him a very well-liked and respected colleague during his almost thirty years of service to the University.
