Nichola develops and implements communications strategies for engaging with the Universitys partners in the creative and cultural sectors. She also coordinates communications between the Universitys cultural attractions to increase engagement with wider audiences.
She helps arts and cultural professionals connect with researchers, students, and professional staff at the University through a number of communications channels. Nichola also coordinated Yorkshire Year of the Textile in 2016-17, a large-scale arts project inspired by the regions rich textile heritage and working with partners to celebrate creativity, innovation and new research.
Before joining the University, Nichola had experience in project management, marketing and communications. She studied English Literature at Newcastle University and the University of Leeds.
