Discover what a career in tech is really like and and the digital skills you need at a free online event as part of Leeds Digital Festival.

Educators from the University of Leeds’ Click Start project, Amy Brereton and Rafael Papallas, will speak about a career in the tech industry, with the chance for you to ask questions too.

With careers in tech and consultancy work with digital businesses, Amy and Rafael will share their experiences and the benefits of digital skills in a YouTube Live session.

You can also learn more about new courses on Click Start, a programme of online digital skills courses, and how a foundation in coding can help you apply for tech industry jobs.

The event, part of Leeds Digital Festival, is free and open to all – book a ticket for Edtech Inspirators: A Career in Coding with Click Start on Eventbrite

Click Start courses include how to code using python, using industry-standard tools and cryptography as well as professional skills including creating a professional online presence and building your CV.

Find out more about Click Start courses and complete the eligibility form. The courses are free for eligible learners, between 18-25 years old. If you don’t qualify for a free place, you can still take part.
