Talking about
The University's digital investment

The University has invested heavily in digital technology over the last few years, recognising that not only is education changing, students’ expectations are changing too. Digital technology can really support students' learning and help them to achieve their outcomes, which is why we’ve spent money in a whole range of areas of student education.

Within learning and teaching we’ve invested in a lecture capture system, which means our students can access video and audio recordings of most of their lectures and other teaching activities, so they can engage with their learning at a time and place that suits them. We’ve also invested in spaces, such as this digitally-enabled, collaborative teaching space so students and staff can work interactively and within groups on really engaging activities that are at the cutting edge of our curriculum.
