Training & Support

Introductory Training

Minerva training is available through OD&PL (Organisational Development and Professional Learning), including a brand new demonstration organisation, which provides an opportunity to explore content and tools from the perspective of a student and consider good practice in the design and delivery of your own Minerva spaces.

Colleagues who are new to Minerva or who feel they need more support in taking on the changes are encouraged to register on the training.

One-to-one staff help from the Learning Technologies Team

The Learning Technologies Team in the Library can also offer one-to-one deskside consultations, or group sessions to meet your specific needs.

These sessions are informal with no presentation. Staff can come along for:

  • one-to-one help with building their module or organisation
  • advice on a specific problem
  • information about Minerva processes

If you think your Department or Faculty could benefit from a drop in session, contact us using the details from the Further help tab (please specify that you would like to organise a drop in session with the Learning Technologies Team).

The staff guides section is available to supplement the face-to-face training and provides step by step instructions on using many of the tools on offer.

Training may be available in your faculty/school, for further information please contact the appropriate administrative office or the eLearning (VLES) team using the contact details from the Further help tab.

The student guides section will help you find your way in Minerva.
