Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is web based online interactive session platform. It includes audio, video, text chat, an interactive whiteboard, PowerPoint display, application sharing, breakout rooms, polling and session recording. It can be accessed using a web browser on desktop PCs and laptops, and via iOS, Android and Windows devices.

Collaborate Ultra is available to all staff and students via modules and organisations in Minerva. It can be used for virtual office hours, tutorials, student led discussions or informal chat. In order for students to access Collaborate staff must first create a link in their module/organisation. External users can participate as guests.
