Week of guided prayer image

22nd to 27th November

at the Universities Chaplaincy in Leeds

Workshops and opportunities for meeting with a daily prayer guide. For staff and students from both Universities.

Each year the Ecumenical Chaplaincy at the Leeds universities hosts members of the Jesuit community from Loyola Hall to help staff and students deepen their prayer lives. Each day you will have the opportunity to meet with one of the prayer guides for a one-to-one session. Sessions typically involve time spent talking about your relationship with God, how you spend time with God and how you can deepen that relationship. You'll then have an opportunity to go away and try different things before returning the next day for feedback and more suggestions. There are also three short evening sessions which look at different ways of praying. If you're wondering about how and where to pray or just want to find out a bit more about prayer, do take this fantastic opportunity. Places for one-to-one spiritual direction are limited, though, and you should sign up. For more details, email us at chaplaincy@leeds.ac.uk
