Obituary: Sydney Harold Mottershead

We are very sorry to have to let colleagues know of the death earlier this month of Mr Sydney Harold Mottershead. In the course of an eighteen-year career with the University, Mr Mottershead, who retired in 1983, held a number of appointments, including those of Hall Porter at Charles Morris Hall, Driver/Handyman in the Department of Zoology and Driver in the Works and Services Division. He was a valued member of staff in all these capacities.

The family association with the University continues, through Mr Mottersheads son, Marc, who is Executive Chef in Catering Services.
