Christine O'Riordan

We are very sorry to have to let colleagues know that Mrs Christine O'Riordan, former Cleaning Supervisor, died on 25th February 2010.

Christine joined Estates (Cleaning Services) in 1977 and was promoted to Cleaning Supervisor in 2001. Her responsibilities included the E C Stoner Building, where she was a well-known and well-liked presence. Friendly and unfailingly helpful, Christine took considerable pride in her work and was integral to the provision of a clean and safe working environment for the buildings inhabitants. Sadly, her worsening health led to her leaving the University in 2004.

Christine's husband, John, predeceased her. She is survived by their daughters, Margaret and Elizabeth, and sons, John, Kevin and Jason, and her grandchildren.
