Internationally influential environmentalist and writer Jonathon Porritt will join University academics to speak about and debate the essential issues of why climate change still matters this week.
The programme for the evening will include a drinks reception followed by talks from the three panel members: Jonathon Porritt, Professor Andrew Gouldson, and Professor Andrew Shepherd (both from Earth and Environment).
The discussion will cover a range of topics including innovation in a low carbon future, should climate change really be a priority in an age of austerity? and is global sea level rise the threat we imagine it to be?'.
This event will take place:
On: Thursday 1 November
In: Clothworkers' Centenary Concert Hall
All are welcome but places are limited.
Please contact Reception in the School of Earth & Environment to book a ticket.
