Please note that the following term and semester dates relate to the general teaching and examination periods at the University. Dates may differ for some programmes of study, especially for postgraduate and Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences programmes. For future University key dates see our almanac.

• Autumn term: Monday 27 September to Friday 10 December 2021
• Spring term: Monday 10 January to Friday 25 March 2022
• Summer term: Monday 25 April to Friday 17 June 2022

Semesters

Teaching dates apply to most but not all of the University's learning and teaching provision.

• Autumn semester: Teaching begins: Monday 27 September 2021.Teaching ends: Friday 10 December 2021
• Spring semester: Teaching begins: Monday 24 January 2022 (start dates may vary by School). Teaching ends: Friday 6 May 2022

Introduction week

• Monday 20 September to Sunday 26 September 2021
• Leeds University Business School Welcome and Induction runs from Monday 13 September to Friday 24 September 2021 (PG Students) and Monday 20th – Friday 24th September 2021 (UG Students).

January 2022 arrival

• Arrival date for students starting courses in January is 10 January 2022. Teaching start dates will vary by your course.

Examinations

• Autumn semester: Monday 10 January to Friday 21 January 2022
• Spring semester: Monday 16 May to Friday 3 June 2022

Dates when the University will be closed

• 20 December 2021 to 3 January 2022
• 14 April (University closes at 12.30pm) to 19 April 2022
• 2 May 2022
• 2-3 June 2022
• 29-30 August 2022
