Undergraduate

Qualifications we accept for undergraduate study

You will need to complete a foundation programme, such as the University of Leeds International Foundation Year, or other level 3 qualifications such as A-levels or the International Baccalaureate

English Language minimum for undergraduate study

You will need West African Examinations Council (WAEC) West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) with English at grade C6, or IELTS 6.0 overall, GCSE English C or 4 or an equivalent qualification: Check which English language qualifications we accept.

If you are applying with a WAEC certificate, please share your results with us via the WAEC website so we can verify them.

Applicants who have studied in The Gambia for at least two years to complete an undergraduate degree or one year to complete a Masters degree, where the medium of instruction was English, are not required to undertake further English language tests.

Postgraduate

Qualifications we accept for postgraduate study

From 2 year Masters degrees

If we ask for 1st, you need:

4.0 GPA

If we ask for 2.1, you need:

3.3 GPA

If we ask for 2.2, you need:

2.5 GPA
