Whether you’ve changed your mind about your chosen course or university, or are simply considering your options, Clearing offers a fantastic opportunity to take control of your future and secure the university place that’s right for you.

Strategic Clearing

From Thursday 2 July, you’ll be able to view our Strategic Clearing vacancies and apply for an undergraduate course at Leeds beginning this September – even if you don’t yet have your results.   

It's your chance to get ahead of the results day crowd and secure your place early. If we're able to offer you a Strategic Clearing place, we'll hold it for you until you can confirm your final grades, giving you real peace of mind about what's next.

Once you’ve locked in your Strategic Clearing place, you can start getting to know Leeds, exploring campus and experiencing student life, so you'll go into results day feeling confident you've chosen the right place for you.

You'll also have a direct line to our Clearing team on A-level results day, helping you to avoid busy phone lines and confirm your results quickly and easily.

  • Accommodation

    If you accept a place through Clearing and apply by 31 August 2026, you’ll be guaranteed University-arranged accommodation. Find out more about our residences and how we'll help you settle in.
