During ‘Mental Health Awareness Week’, we will be discussing whether we’re overdiagnosing mental health problems with academics and writer Ken McLaughlin.
Are we just more aware of the extent of mental health problems and failing to recognise the pressures people face today, or has increased awareness risked overdiagnosis?
Professor in Psychological Health, Wellbeing & Education Bridgette Bewick will be joined by academics and writer Ken McLaughlin to discuss whether we’re overdiagnosing mental health problems.
