Want to drive meaningful change in your organisation? Our pioneering online Sustainable Business Leadership course is designed to equip you with the skills that employers are actively seeking. You will develop expertise to drive sustainability strategies, assess risks and opportunities and make a meaningful impact within your organisation.
The MSc includes three foundation modules, six development modules, and a project tailored to your interests.
The PGCert consists of three foundation modules and one development module of your choice.
Both qualifications cover key topics such as Sustainability and Business, Policy, Governance and Sustainability, and Contemporary Economics and are taught at the same academic level.
You’ll gain in-depth knowledge and practical skills on business sustainability issues, including the forces driving organisations to adopt sustainable practices for the future.

Which course is right for you?
We offer two pathways:
- MSc in Sustainable Business Leadership - A globally recognised qualification providing in-depth understanding of sustainability in business. Ideal for advancing your career into leadership roles.
- PGCert Sustainable Business Leadership - A shorter course providing key sustainability and business insights. Ideal for quickly progressing or upskilling.
Both options cover the same core modules and are taught at the same academic level.
Fees and funding
Our flexible payment structure allows you to pay per module as you progress through the course:
MSc:
- 9 taught modules (15 credits each): £1,650 per module
- Final project (45 credits): £2,650
- Total: £17,500 (UK and International)
PGCert:
- 4 taught modules (15 credits each): £1,650 per module
- Total: £6,600 (UK and International)
Please note: If your employer or sponsor is paying your fees directly, you cannot pay per module.
Entry requirements
A First or 2:1 (hons) Bachelor degree in any subject.
Professional pathway
A 2.2 (hons) Bachelor degree in any subject, or equivalent professional qualifications, with at least three years of relevant professional experience for the MSc or at least two years for the PGCert.
Professional qualifications or higher education qualifications equivalent to Level 5, with at least five years of relevant professional experience for the MSc or at least three years for the PGCert.
Professionally qualified and experienced candidates who do not meet the formal requirements will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Mathematics requirements
You will need to demonstrate mathematical proficiency through a university degree, a professional qualification with a clear numerical component (e.g. ACCA, CFA), or A-level / GCSE Maths (or international equivalent).
English language requirements
IELTS 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in in any component
A degree taught in English from a recognised institution (minimum two years at undergraduate level or one year at the Masters level).

The Postgraduate Certificate involves a selection of four modules.
Sustainability and Business
Examine the relationship between organisations and sustainability, including its historical evolution. Through case studies and webinars, you'll gain skills to critically assess the business case for sustainability.
Policy, Governance and Sustainability
Explore the governance of human-environmental interactions, emphasising the complexities of sustainability-related policies. You'll also engage with global, national, and local perspectives on environmental governance.
Delivering Sustainable Solutions
Gain insights into tools and frameworks for sustainable operations and supply chains. You'll analyse key challenges and opportunities in achieving sustainability within business networks.
Sustainable Business Strategies
Investigate the intersection of strategic management and sustainability, exploring the significance and implementation of sustainability-related business strategies. Case studies and discussions provide practical insights into managing sustainability within organisations.
Business Analytics
Expand your knowledge of data analytics for transforming information into actionable insights, particularly in sustainability-related applications.
Sustainability Leadership Research Project
Conduct an in-depth investigation into business and sustainability issues. Guided by academic resources and supervision, you'll be able to tailor your project to your interests and career aspirations.
