Which course is right for you?
We offer two pathways:
- MSc in Engineering Management – A globally recognised qualification providing in-depth knowledge of business and management strategies in the industry. Ideal for advancing your career into leadership roles.
- PGCert Engineering Management – A shorter qualification that allows you to gain key knowledge quickly. Ideal for quickly progressing or upskilling.
Both options cover the same core modules (Programming for Data Science, Data Science, and Algorithms) and are taught at the same academic level.
Fees and funding
Our flexible payment structure allows you to pay per module as you progress through the course:
MSc:
- 9 taught modules (15 credits each): £1,500 per module
- Final project (45 credits): £2,000
- Total: £15,500 (UK and International)
PGCert:
- 4 taught modules (15 credits each): £1,500 per module
- Total: £6,000 (UK and International)
Please note: If your employer or sponsor is paying your fees directly, you cannot pay per module.
Entry requirements
A 2:2 (hons) Bachelor degree in engineering, physical sciences or a related engineering or technological discipline where relevant subject areas have been studied.
Professional pathways:
- If your degree is in an unrelated field (eg managerial or economic), we’ll consider your application if you have at least three years of relevant work experience in an engineering environment.
- Applicants with professional qualifications and extensive industry experience may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

English language requirements
- IELTS 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in any component
- A degree taught in English from a recognised institution (minimum two years at undergraduate level or one year at the Masters level).
