A Leeds Digital Festival event with Leeds Institute for Data Analytics (LIDA)
Businesses use data to understand themselves, their environment and their customers. Business leaders who understand how to leverage data gain competitive advantage and drive success. The Leeds Institute for Data Analytics (LIDA) at the University of Leeds is supporting businesses and organisations to exploit their data through research, training and our "talent pipeline".
At this event you will hear from three LIDA experts about new tools and techniques that can transform the value of information.
- Professor Roy Ruddle will open your eyes about the many ways your data might be “wrong” and describe six steps for rigorously and efficiently checking data quality;
- Dr Roger Beecham will demonstrate how data graphics can be designed to help explore, check and communicate complex data-driven insights;
- Owen Johnson will show how new process mining techniques can be used to improve internal and customer facing business processes.
The event will include a Q&A and networking session, and we are interested in hearing from you, what challenges you face and how LIDA and the University of Leeds support your data analysis roadmap.
