[Daniel says:] Lucy is an example of what happens if you make the opportunity to study music available to all children and take away those barriers that a lot of children face, and you find someone like Lucy and you give them the opportunity and that space to flourish, and they can achieve
great things and she's got this prospect of a career as a professional musician.

[Daniel says:] Lucy’s a very extreme example of that obviously because her needs are very great and her abilities are very great as well, you know, so it's completely unique.
Organizations like Leeds International Piano Competition are giving her this opportunity because they recognize the importance of nurturing this talent.
