Abeer: I chose Leeds because I wanted to be able to mingle with locals and international students.

Abeer: But I also wanted to feel the culture and immerse myself in it.

[Abeer and another person sit on a wall in the Skatepark, laughing and smiling. The shot then changes to a view of the back of their heads.]

[Abeer smiles whilst ordering an ice cream. The seller passes Abeer a large cone with ice cream and sprinkles.]

Abeer: You never feel like an outsider. You fit in very easily and very fast.

Abeer: The University is very beautiful.

[A person cycles on the University of Leeds campus, past a redbrick building, with other people walking past.]

Abeer: There is a lot of things going on. The Union has a lot of societies, and the University is always alive.

Abeer: And there's a lot of areas in which students can sit and relax.

[Abeer sits on a bench, under a tree on campus, with trees and a university building in the background.]

Abeer: The buildings are very fascinating because they're old, but from inside they're very modern.

There are also shots of two big black metal structures - artwork called ‘Sign for Art’ by Keith Wilson, with people walking and sitting around nearby.]

Abeer: You have all faculties, libraries, even the gym, everything is in one place, making it easy for the student to feel the vibes of being a student with other people.

[Abeer stands at a blue and cream food truck with people seated outside, near the truck.]

[Abeer chats and smiles with the food truck vendor.]

[Abeer sits with a group of people near the food truck.]
