Information for teachers

Teachers and school groups are welcome to attend our Open Days. They are an excellent opportunity for you and your pupils to see why Leeds is a great place to live and study. Each student attending Open Day should book individually using our Open Days booking form. 

Schools and colleges

Booking individual talks and sessions is now essential. Our Open Days are popular, and sessions will fill up quickly.

Once booked, students will be able to access their online Open Days booking summary which they’ll use on the day to access sessions.  

Teachers are also welcome to book sessions in advance and attend any of the following drop-in sessions on the day (no pre-booking required):

  • Information fair
  • Accommodation information stand
  • Accommodation viewings
  • Tours of Leeds University Union
  • Library tours
  • The Edge sports centre
  • Subject drop ins

Teachers’ Lounge – Friday 24 June

A space will be available on campus for teachers to catch up with work and relax. Access to wi-fi will be available and staff from our Educational Engagement team will be on hand to talk to you about how we can assist your learners.

Coach parking

Limited coach parking is available on Friday 24 June on a first come, first served basis. As spaces are limited, please ensure you are mindful of the needs of other schools when making your booking.

Once you register your school or college, we will send you detailed parking information. This includes a map and directions. To book a space please use our coach parking form.
