Teachers and school groups are always welcome to join us at an Open Day.
Take the opportunity to explore our facilities. Step into our state-of-the-art science laboratories where your students could make their first discovery, or view a final year art show in one of our gallery spaces.

Booking in advance is essential for many sessions. We are unable to take group bookings. Each pupil and teacher will need to book onto each separate session they wish to attend.
Teachers are also welcome to attend any of the following drop-in sessions on the day (no pre-booking required). You can find further information on these on our What to Expect at Open Days page:

Tours will run at regular intervals throughout the day from 9am to 4pm.
Teachers’ lounge – Friday 14 June
There’ll be a space on campus for teachers to catch up with work and relax.
Access to wi-fi and morning refreshments will be available. Staff from our Educational Engagement team will be available to talk to you about how we can assist your learners.
Travel bursary
This year we are piloting a travel bursary scheme for schools. We understand that with the current pressures on budgets it is becoming increasingly difficult to fund transport to bring your students to campus. As this is a limited pot of funding, we may not be able to offer a bursary to all schools who apply, schools will be selected schools based on our widening participation criteria and location. Coach booking
Limited spaces are available for coach parking, drop off and pick up on Friday 14 June on a first come, first served basis. As spaces are limited, please be mindful of the needs of other schools when making your booking.

Once you register your school or college, we will send you an email with detailed parking information. This will include a map and directions.
Please remember that a coach parking booking does not give you access to the Open Day sessions which must be booked separately.
