Undergraduate
Qualifications we accept for undergraduate study
Gaokao (aka NCEE - National College Entrance Examination) and Senior high school
Subject-specific requirements from Gaokao:
75-85%.
Please note that some programmes require A Level Maths alongside the Gaokao.
We also accept the Maple Leaf World School Program (MLWSP) Diploma.
Subject-specific requirements from the MLWSP Diploma:
75-85%
Applicants not meeting these requirements (or those applying to School of Medicine or Dentistry courses) will be required to complete a foundation programme, such as the University of Leeds International Foundation Year, or other level 3 qualifications such as A-levels or the International Baccalaureate.
Typical entry requirements
75 - 82% in Gaokao
and
an overall average of 80% with at least 80% in relevant subject areas in senior high school Year 1 and Year 2 and obtain senior high school graduation certificate.
75-85% in MLWSP Diploma
English Language minimum for undergraduate study
You will need MLWSP Diploma English 12 module at 65% or above, IELTS 6.0 overall, GCSE English C or 4 or an equivalent qualification: Check which English language qualifications we accept.
Postgraduate
Qualifications we accept for postgraduate study
4 year Bachelor degrees.

If we ask for 1st, you need:
85%-95%, depending on your institution
If we ask for 2.1, you need:
80%-90%, depending on your institution
If we ask for 2.2, you need:
75%-85%, depending on your institution
