Erica Ramsay

Erica is a project manager for the Cultural Institute, focusing on facilitating the University’s partnerships with arts and cultural organisations as well as local authorities, health providers and community organisations.

Erica started her career working in museums, facilitating access to collections in areas of low participation in West Yorkshire. She later offered consultation to cultural and education sectors on strategic approaches to audience development, participation, and programme and service design and review. Erica has served on the board of a charity in Leeds, and was Chair of Governors at an inner city primary school.

At the Cultural Institute, Erica has managed on a range of projects including the Ignite funding scheme, supporting the development of partnerships between academic colleagues and external partners. She leads on our Arts and Health work and co-manages the Leeds Arts, Health and Wellbeing Network in partnership with a number of organisations. Erica also works in collaboration with cultural producers on campus and coordinates cultural engagement activity such as Yorkshire Sculpture International.
