Nichola has responsibility for developing opportunities for students with the Cultural Institute's partners. She also develops and implements communications strategies for engaging with the University’s partners in the creative and cultural sectors.
Nichola also coordinated Yorkshire Year of the Textile in 2016-17, a large-scale arts project based at the Cultural Institute. Inspired by the region’s rich textile heritage, the project worked with artists and partners to celebrate creativity, innovation and new research. Before joining the University, Nichola had experience in project management, marketing and communications. She studied English Literature at Newcastle University and the University of Leeds.
