Sue joined the University following a successful career in the creative and cultural sector where her work spanned visual, performing arts and heritage. She founded her own consultancy in 1997 which led the field in evaluation of interdisciplinary partnerships for The National Trust, Arts Council England and HLF.
Sue has initiated research into creative knowledge transfer, exploring the role of artist as researcher. While at Leeds, Sue successfully built and enhanced the university’s relationships with external creative sector partners and devised innovative approaches that facilitate cross domain working.
