About me
I lead the department's academic development provision for student education, research and PGRs and I’m responsible for externally accredited activities including professional recognition for Student Education (PRISE and PGCAP) and HR Excellence (researcher development).
I am also the Organisational Development and Professional Learning (OD&PL) representative on university committees and groups including Digital Education and Research and Innovation Board.
My interests are in:
- research-based learning and the implications for curriculum development
- student learning and staff development and recognition – I contributed to a European Universities Association Group on this topic.
- digital learning, with respect to widening access to higher education and the implications for academic practice
- inclusion and diversity in academic career development and progression.
