About me
My background is in research, specialising in structural biology and biophysics at the University of Leeds and the New York State Department of Health (Wadsworth Center).
I’m also a tutor on the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
With an education focus, I took a position in the School of Medicine here at Leeds where I led and delivered a programme of Continuing Professional Development events. These were designed to support our colleagues who teach in the clinical workplace and included the prize-winning TiMEtoteach project.
My passion is to support those who deliver teaching, and to build communities who feel supported and encouraged to get involved.
