Margaret focuses on the energy, utilities, telecommunications and creative sectors and is point of contact for the faculties of Environment, Arts, Humanities and Cultures as well as Engineering and Physical Sciences. She has a background in the services sector having held senior positions in international tourism and higher education.
In previous roles at Australian universities, she established a corporate engagement team, and secured $5m investment from industry to develop a multi-disciplinary cyber security hub. In her last role, she led the initiation and management of the innovation district at Macquarie University, Australia, attracting six industry partners to fund and develop the district.
