Leeds Bear Hunt – Meet Spectrum Bear

Meet Spectrum Bear – one of 35 bears hidden across Leeds

For ten weeks Spectrum Bear will be joining us on campus.

The bears across the city form part of a family-friendly trail that take you to iconic parts of Leeds as well as some hidden gems.

Can you visit all 35? Visit the Leeds Bear Hunt website for a full list of events.

Explore our campus

Did you know that the campus is a public space? Everyone can take advantage of our fantastic outdoor and indoor spaces. So while you’re here, take a look at all the amazing things we have on offer for you today and over the summer:

  • Public art trail

The University has a huge collection of art across the campus for you to enjoy. Read our Medium blog to discover art from world-famous artists including Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore.

  • Tree trail

The tree trail was created to celebrate the massive value of trees to campus life. Each tree has its own story of how it got here and information on the species.

Several people stood amongst autumn leaves on campus, studying a tree.
  • Sustainable garden

The Sustainable Garden is a space to enjoy a moment of peace in our busy city. Spend some time exploring the allotments, flower beds and wildflower areas.
