Meet Spectrum Bear – one of 35 bears hidden across Leeds
For ten weeks Spectrum Bear will be joining us on campus.
The bears across the city form part of a family-friendly trail that take you to iconic parts of Leeds as well as some hidden gems.
Can you visit all 35? Visit the Leeds Bear Hunt website for a full list of events.
Welcome to our campus

Explore our campus
Did you know that the campus is a public space? Everyone can take advantage of our fantastic outdoor and indoor spaces. So while you’re here, take a look at all the amazing things we have on offer for you today and over the summer:
The University has a huge collection of art across the campus for you to enjoy. Read our Medium blog to discover art from world-famous artists including Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore.
The tree trail was created to celebrate the massive value of trees to campus life. Each tree has its own story of how it got here and information on the species.
The Sustainable Garden is a space to enjoy a moment of peace in our busy city. Spend some time exploring the allotments, flower beds and wildflower areas.
Discover our galleries
The University is host to three galleries on site. The Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery, The Treasures of the Brotherton Gallery, and the M&S Archive.
Challenge your views of what landscape painting can be, and explore nature in unexpected ways.
The Brontës are Yorkshire’s very own world-famous literary family. But how did they become the icons we know today?
From puddings to pants, from ready meals to staff welfare – M&S is woven into the fabric of the UK. What will you discover?
Take a journey across borders and travel from Leeds to Venice and Jerusalem, via the Sun and Moon.
