Foundation years – the right route for me?
Tuesday 12 November, 6.00pm-7.30pm
Join us for a free, online event to find out about the different foundation years you can study with the Lifelong Learning Centre:
- Arts and Humanities with Foundation Year BA
- Business Studies with Foundation Year BSc
- Interdisciplinary Science with Foundation Year BSc
We’ll explore the huge amount of progression routes available in fields such as Engineering, Science, Maths, Business, Management, Economics, English, History, Languages and more.
What's a foundation year?
If you don't meet the requirements for direct entry onto a degree, a foundation year can be a helpful option. It's an extra year of study that prepares you for your chosen degree. After successfully completing the foundation year, you'll progress to the first year of your chosen degree programme.
This event will provide information and cover topics including:
- Course entry requirements
- Support for Lifelong Learning Centre students
- Degree options
- Student experiences
- Course overviews
- Q&A session.
Please note: For progression onto degrees in Healthcare (excluding Nursing and Midwifery) you must apply via UCAS by 15 October 2024 for September 2025 entry.
