Not sure if university's for you? Try JumpStart, a free short course for adult learners.
JumpStart offers a fun and immersive experience of being within a higher education setting. It's designed to fit around your other commitments and build the skills, understanding and confidence in yourself as a learner that you'll need for university.
On the course you'll have the chance to:
- explore a range of subject areas
- develop essential study skills to take the fear out of academic study
- gain knowledge to make informed choices about your next steps in education and/or work.
JumpStart is held every Wednesday evening from 5–7pm for a total of eight weeks, with two additional daytime sessions on Saturdays. The next course will be starting in October 2024.
